Linville is a member of the American Veterinary Medical
Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association,
the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of
Veterinary Allergists, and a former president of the Napa-
Solano Veterinary Medical Association. He was also a
former president of the Vallejo Rotary Club, an outstanding
35-year member of the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce, a
founder of the Benicia-Vallejo Humane Society (awarded
for years of dedicated service), and a founder of the
Solano-Napa Pet Emergency Clinic (SPEC) in Fairfield
(established in 1981).
The community recognizes Dr. Linville and his business
as top notch. For example, the Vallejo Chamber of
Commerce recently awarded All Creatures with the
Business of the Year Award for 2016—a high honor. The
editorial staff of the Consumer Business Review selected
him as the Veterinarian of the Year in 2003. The Vallejo
Times-Herald gave Dr. Linville the same acknowledgement,
awarding him with Veterinary of the Year in 2006. The
Association of Avian Veterinarians recognized Dr. Linville for
his outstanding service and commitment in 2009. And those
are all just naming a few of Dr. Linville’s great recognitions.
Wanting to know more about his business, I recently met
with Dr. Linville at his hospital. Dr. Linville and I have actually
met before at Sailor Jack’s in Benicia years ago, and he also
graduated from UC Davis—small world. I asked Dr. Linville

people’s lives. It is a connection that many people need.”
I could clearly tell how passionate Dr. Linville is about not
only animals and their relationship with people, but also the
Veterinary Hospital Vallejo community. Many people have pets,
though not everyone
can afford to pay for
expensive animal
